Media interest: In recent weeks, the researchers at SFI CASA have made a name for themselves in the regional and national media.
Early in January, Associate professor Vegard Aune published a chronicle on highly topical societal security issues in the regional newspaper Adresseavisen.
On 2 and 3 February, the top management at partner NDEA paid a visit to SIMLab. The partners had fruitful discussions and celebrated 30 years of close and beneficial cooperation. The visit and the ongoing projects attracted media interest. You can watch the National Broadcaster NRK´s report here (number 6 on the schedule, approximately 5:50 minutes into the broadcast).
The Norwegian polytechnical magazine Technology Weekly (Teknisk Ukeblad) also brought a story on the ongoing collaboration on low-carbon concrete.
Also, CASA director, Professor Magnus Langseth, continues to participate in the societal debate. This time, the topic is the SFI Scheme. On 13 February, he argued against an earlier chronicle from the media company Schibsted. The discussion is happening in Khrono, Norway´s leading university and research sector publication.
Before Christmas, the magazine Tekna had a lengthy report and interview with Rannveig Marie Færgestad and her doctoral project on space debris impact on protective shields.
